If you think your work fits and you’re interested do send some work over. Michael will be interested. Even if it’s just a once off, and you can reblog or post it at your site. I really think it would give the Weird Laburnum audience a sublime treat!
Hi Alan,
Thank you for expressing your confidence in my work, I really appreciate it. I sent Michael at weirdlaburnum a message through the contact on his website inviting him to look over my work and see if it was of any interest to him and have heard nothing back and I did mention that you had encouraged me to do so!
Perhaps I went down the wrong avenue..it would be great to share on a wider platform as an audience of one is a lovely but limiting!!
If you submitted something not published on your blog or elsewhere but then could post on your blog afterwards, that would be cool. I think like most journals, print or online, they like something not yet seen.
I hope to see you as a regular off and on there, that would be very exciting!
Bear with Michael, not just because he’s British, like me, but he lives in Finland, but he’s a dad and husband with his hands more than full! ๐
Ah, I just gave him my website address in his contact section..there doesn’t seem to be a submissions place..I’ll take another look. Looks like we’re in the happily bumbling British squad…
I get replies sent to my email account, so I got this one and the other one too. My cell is no longer twitchy as my bank messed up automatic payments, but I’m all day and night at my laptop! We run back to back courses, so I have to be alert to incoming!
Well, actually weird laburnum is submissions by invitation only. ๐
I’ve just badgered Michael, which is why there is no submissions section anymore. There was last year, but it feels better, for its home style, for invitations only. ๐
So we bumble along but there is method there! ๐
You should definitely submit your haiga and other artwork to Weird Laburnum:

As you know, I’m a big fan of your work!

No you didn’t fail. ๐
Did you send something that is not on your blog already, and not seen by us, jo/e public?
If so, a reply might not be for a day or two. In the general poetry I’ve known some replies to take a year, it will be quicker than that.
